Foundation Global Education has grown out of Foundation Programs, which was founded in 2001 and has been offering summer study programs in China for English-speaking students from around the world since 2002.   Daniel Szeto, Director of Foundation Global Education, and Roy Bergeson, Head of Education, were co-founders of the earlier program and have now expanded their vision for 2010 beyond China to embrace a global perspective with programs in India and the United States as well as two programs in China.  

In the new corporate structure, Foundation Global Education is comprised of two subsidiary companies, Foundation Education Programs and Foundation Education Services.   Foundation Education Programs offers the educational programs described in our brochure.   In addition there will be an optional travel extension in China in which family members of program participants are invited to join and a community service extension in India for students who wish to extend their stay in India and experience community service work at the village level.  

Foundation Education Services provides educational counseling for families in Asia who are considering overseas education for their children.   Through recruiting top students from the West for our China program over the years, we have gained extensive knowledge of schools in the West and the types of students that these schools educate.   With 400 to 500 campus visits each year and contacts maintained with the leading schools around the world, Foundation Education Services has an extensive knowledge base to use in serving the needs of Asian students and their families who look overseas for further education.
