Foundation Global Education offers custom-designed school trips throughout China headed by International Programs manager and travel expert Matt Glastonbury. Our trips and excursions are mostly run for international high schools in and outside of China. Schools tells us their vision for the trip and, working closely with them, our team draws on its extensive experience in both Western and Chinese high schools to design trips that are active and engaging.
Message from Matt about our aims: As global citizenship coordinators our objective is to start, organize, and source a variety of community service projects, by connecting those with a need with those that want to help and learn.
We aim to provide a platform to inspire personal development as globally aware citizens. We encourage a positive attitude to learning by inspiring students to ask challenging questions, to reflect critically, to develop life skills, and to learn how to reach their full potential.
Our International Programs aim to assist schools in developing inquisitive, enthusiastic and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful future through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, we work with schools, governments, NGOs and international organizations to develop challenging, creative, action, and service programs. These programs encourage students across the world to become proactive, compassionate and accepting people who understand that the contrasting differences, in other people and cultures is something to be appreciated.
We provide educational, CAS, school trips, and programs all-year-round specializing in China and
Indonesia. Our continuously expanding International Programs network supports charitable organizations in a number of locations in China by connecting them with companies, funding, schools, students and volunteers.
Most of our programs and trips can be credited for CAS, IB and International Youth Award requirements. We always aim to complement the school’s teaching objectives with our trip itineraries. Being fellow educators, we pride ourselves in taking the time to understand the needs of the school and students, thereby ensuring a memorable educational experience for everyone.
Schools, individuals, and students, from around the world can gain global exposure and experience in any number of life-changing activities. Our global exchange network of service, gap-year, volunteer, work-experience, and project opportunities cover: China, Indonesia, India, Western Europe, Jordan, USA, Australia and the UK.
By acting first locally and then abroad, we realize our potential as global citizens.
